The Jennings Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Daillobe Marshall. At approximately 3:57pm, police officers responded to the 7000 block of Emma Avenue for a report of a bloody person lying in the backseat of a gray 1990 Buick Skylark. When officers arrived on scene, they located Daillobe Marshall (age 21) lying in the backseat of the car. He had been beaten, shot, and strangled. He was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, Julian McClain (age 44) and Danny Gillespie (age 40) were each charged with Murder 1st Degree in the death of Daillobe. They were both arrested on no-bond warrants.
