The Calverton Park Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of DeAndre Moore, Jr. Around 10:45am, Calverton Park police officers were called to the intersection of Barto Drive and New Florissant Road for a Honda Accord which was illegally parked. Upon investigation, they discovered DeAndre Moore Jr (age 41) deceased inside the vehicle from a gunshot wound.
As a result of this investigation, Jeffrey Tod (age 53) was charged with Murder 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action in DeAndre’s death. He was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
Tod was also charged in a homicide for Major Case Squad Report #688.
