The Belleville Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Jason Adams. At approximately 1:34pm, police officers responded to the parking lot of Schatzee’s Bar (2301 E Main St) for a report of an unconscious person in a vehicle. There they located Jason Adams (age 34) slumped over in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, it was determined Jason had fallen and struck his head. He died as a result of that injury. A Coroner’s Inquest determined his death was accidental.
