On Thursday, November 19th, 2020, at approximately 7:30 pm, the Collinsville Police Department responded to 107 Crandall St. in Collinsville, in reference a reported home invasion. At the time of the call, it was reported that one victim had been shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered the male resident of 107 Crandall St. deceased inside the apartment from an apparent gun shot wound. The victim has been identified as:

Subsequently, the Collinsville Police Department requested the activation of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis to lead the investigation. Currently, there are approximately 20 investigators assigned to the case, being led by Deputy Commander Mark Kuechle. Investigators are following up on numerous leads at this time.
