On Wednesday 05-18-2016 Sheriff Deputies responded to the 9900 block of Jones Creek Rd. Dittmer Mo. 63023 for a report of two gunshot victims. The homeowner was one of the victims only identified as:
Moore, Timothy W/M, 49 YOA

The second victim whom was an acquaintance and neighbor was later pronounced deceased at an area hospital and is identified as:
Mann, Kenneth E. W/M, 56 YOA

According to the surviving victim an unidentified male subject responded to the residence and inquired about an apparent stolen vehicle. The male demanded the return of the vehicle. According to the victim he had no knowledge of the stolen vehicle. A verbal argument ensued which escalated to the point of a physical confrontation between the parties. At some point the unidentified male subject brandished a handgun before firing the weapon at the victims.
The suspect then fled the area prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The suspect is only described as a white / male with dark brown hair wearing blue jeans and a black “hoodie.”
On Thursday 05-19-2016 at approximately 0854 hours the suspect was located in Franklin County and taken into custody, with the assistance of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. At approximately 1635 hours charges were obtained through the Jefferson County’s Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to include a $500.000 cash only bond. The suspect is identified as one;

At this time the suspect is a pre-trial detainee and is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
