Major Case Squad Activated for Dellwood Homicide
On Saturday May 29, 2021, the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad was activated to assist North County Cooperative in a homicide investigation wherein one male subject was killed, and three other subjects were injured.
At approximately 11:15 PM on Friday evening, officers received a call for a disturbance outside of II Bar, 10466 West Florissant Avenue, which lead to four subjects being shot. One male victim was killed as a result, another male subject has critical gunshot injuries, and two female subjects have non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. All the surviving victims are receiving medical treatment at an area hospital.
Numerous investigators with The Major Case Squad are investigating the incident and working on developing leads in this case. Detectives have identified the deceased victim, but his name will not be released at this time as they are still attempting to locate next of kin for notification.
