FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On 06/04/20, the Granite City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the 2500 block of Madison Ave. in Granite City, IL. Upon the arrival of the Officers, one male victim was located and Officers found that he had been shot. The victim was transported to Gateway Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has been activated and is assisting the Granite City Police Department with this investigation. At this time no information about the victim can be released nor can any suspect information be released either.
