MAJOR CASE SQUAD CALLED TO INVESTIGATE
OVERLAND HOMICIDE
On Wednesday May 27th, 2020 at approximately 4:00 pm, the North County Police Cooperative responded to a call for a person down at a residence. Upon arrival Officers found a subject, who had suffered traumatic injuries and pronounced dead on scene. The Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad was requested to assist with the investigation. Lieutenant Jack Abell of the Clayton Police Department is the deputy commander assigned.
The victim is identified as:
Tyrone Jamar Humphries, 34 Years of Age from St. Louis Missouri
Currently 12 investigators with the Major Case Squad are investigating the incident. The Major Case Squad is seeking any information from the community to assist in identifying those responsible.
