With MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE and ARMED CRIMINAL ACTION for the shooting death of:
Mussie Ogbai Gebregziabher
Black Male
DOB: 02/15/1990
On Sunday, June 19, 2016 just before 4am, the Overland Police Department responded to a call for a shooting in the 2400 block of Leslie. Upon their arrival, they found Gebregziabher lying on the ground at the front door of the residence. Gebregziabher was pronounced dead at the scene and the Overland Police Department requested the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis’ assistance in investigating the incident.
After a thorough investigation, Cueto was identified as a suspect.
Cueto was taken into custody at a motel in Springfield, Illinois with the help of the Springfield, IL Police Department. Major Case Squad Investigators are currently interviewing Cueto and a handgun was recovered in the motel room. Cueto is being held on a $50,000.00 bond.
