On Friday, December, 19, 2019 at approximately 23:02 hours, Bethalto Police Department received a request from Hazelwood, Missouri Police Department for a welfare check at a residence in the 300 block of Mill St., Bethalto, Illinois. Upon checking the residence officers observed a deceased subject inside the residence. A subsequence check of residence revealed that there were two additional deceased subjects inside the residence.
The victims are a 59 year old female, a 32 year old male and a 30 year old male. The identities of the victims are not being released at this time; as we are awaiting and confirming that the next of kin has been notified.
The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has been activated to investigate this matter. At this time, multiple investigators from the Major Case Squad are working this investigation. The investigation is in the early stages and there is no further information to provide at this time.
