Major Case Squad Activated for Dellwood Homicide
On Tuesday June 9, 2020, the North County Cooperative Police Department requested the activation of the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad to assist with an investigation wherein one subject was the victim of an apparent homicide. At approximately 10:00 PM on Tuesday evening, North County Cooperative police officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Keelen, located in the City of Dellwood, for a report of a vehicle in the yard. Upon arrival, they located a vehicle with a deceased black male in the driver’s seat.
Numerous investigators with The Major Case Squad are investigating the incident and assisting the North County Cooperative Police Department in developing leads in this case. Detectives have identified the victim, but his name will not be released at this time as they are still attempting to locate next of kin for notification.
