Subject: Major Case Squad Press Release, Maryville, IL Activation
On Thursday, March 17, 2022, at approximately 4:05pm, the Maryville Police Department received a 911 call of a deceased subject in the 2000 Block of N. Bluff Rd, Collinsville, IL 62234. The caller located a male subject, face down, in a pool of blood, who appeared to have been shot multiple times.
At the request of the Maryville Police Department, the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis was activated to investigate this matter. Approximately twenty (20) plus Major Case Investigators responded and have been actively working this investigation.
A press conference has been scheduled for 1:30pm, at the Maryville, IL Police Department located at 2500 N. Center St, Maryville, IL 62062 related to this investigation. If any other relevant information is released prior to the press conference, such information will be released via Major Case Squad Greater St. Louis twitter account @MajorCaseSTL.
