MAJOR CASE SQUAD IS SEEKING HELP IN LOCATING TWO SUSPECTS IN BERKELEY HOMICIDE

The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis is seeking the public’s help locating two wanted suspects in connection with this case. These two suspects should be considered Armed and Dangerous. If you see them, please call 911. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued warrants on the below-listed suspects in this case.

Suspect #1

Taiyion N. Kirk
18 Years Old
St. Louis, MO 63135

• Count #1: Assault 1st Degree – Class B Felony
• Count #2: Armed Criminal Action – Felony

Suspect #2

La'Marrion A. Matthews
18 Years Old
Hazelwood, MO 63042

• Count #1: Assault 1st Degree – Class B Felony
• Count #2: Armed Criminal Action – Felony

The case originated on Sunday, March 26, 2023, when the Berkeley Police Department responded to a call for multiple subjects armed with firearms and shots fired at the 6800 block of Larry Lane, Berkeley, MO 63134. Upon arrival, officers discovered the deceased victim in the residence's front yard with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was later identified as a 14-year-old male.
