MAJOR CASE SQUAD MAKES ARRESTS IN PAGEDALE HOMICIDE

On Monday July 10, 2023, the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad detectives arrested and charged two adults and one juvenile in connection with the death of Jaylin Johnson. The adult suspects have been identified as:

Hall, Kenneth
B/M 29 years old
7000 block of Alert Drive

Thomas-Perry, Darnesha
B/F 18 years old
1500 block of Washington St.

The juvenile suspect is currently being held on charges at St. Louis County Juvenile Detention (refer to their agency for further information).

The Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad presented their investigation to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on Monday and the following charges were issued against Hall and Thomas-Perry:

  • COUNT I: Murder 2nd Degree – Class A Felony
  • COUNT II: Robbery 1st – Class A Felony

The case originated when the Pagedale Police Department received a call for shots fired in the 7000 block of St. Charles Rock Road on Friday morning just after 1 AM. Responding officers found victim, Jaylin Johnson, deceased on the scene from apparent gunshot wounds. The Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad was activated and after an intensive investigation, which is still on-going, Hall and Thomas-Perry and a juvenile subject were taken into custody. The Major Case Squad received numerous tips from the public which helped identify the persons of interest and those identifications assisted the investigation tremendously.

Hall is currently being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $750,000 bond.
Thomas-Perry is currently being held at St. Louis County Justice Center on a $1 million bond.

As previously stated, this investigation is still on-going; therefore, details about the case will be limited.
