The Madison Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Sherman Cox (age 55). At approximately 3:57pm, police officers responded to the area of 2000 Edwardsville Rd, Madison for an unresponsive unclothed male behind a residence. Sherman Cox was located with several stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
