The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Randy Sitze. At approximately 7:16pm, Deputies responded to the 100 block of West Lakeview Drive in Desoto for a report of a deceased male. There they discovered the body of Randy Sitze (age 61) in the basement of the home with obvious signs of injury.
As a result of this investigation, Andrew Britton (age 22) was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action in Randy’s death.
