The Sauget Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Terrill Vance. At approximately 12:25am, officers responded to MotoMart (3120 Mississippi Ave) for a report of shots fired and a subject down. There officers located Terrill Vance (age 46) in the parking lot. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, Charles Shaw (age 42), was charged with First Degree Murder. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
